Arc gis Part 4

Goal: In this exercise you will learn to change an ArcGIS table display.

At the end of this exercise you will be able to:

• Use the Table pull-down menu
• Hide and display specific fields in a table
• Create an alias for a field
• Change the width of fields in the table

الهدف من هذا التمرين هو التعرف بشكل اكبر علي الجداول والتعامل معها وكيفية التغيير في خصائصها مثل:
   استخدام الجدول القائمة المنسدلة
     اخفاء وعرض حقول محددة في الجدول
     إنشاء اسم مستعار لحقل
     تغيير عرض الحقول في الجدول

Step 1. If necessary, start ArcGIS.  Add the "Countbnd.shp"
to the View1.

نفتح برنامج الـــ Arc Gis
ونضيف الـــ Shape File اللي حنشتغل عليها

Step 2. Click the Open Attribute Table button to open the "Attributes of Countbnd.shp" table. To see all the fields in the table, scroll to the right.

انقر فوق الجدول لعرض خصائص الـــ ShapeFile الجدول. رؤية كافة الحقول في الجدول

Step 3.  Next we will change the fields displayed in the table. Make the "Attributes of Countbnd.shp" table active. From the Table pull-down menu, select Properties to display the Table Properties dialogn box.

Note: The name of all attributes is displayed in the primary display field box. The fields can be changed by scrolling down in the box. To hide the attributes of a certain field simply unchecked the visible box.

عند فتح الخصائص من الممكن من خلاالها التحكم بالحقول التي يتم عرضها في جدول البيانات وذلك من خلال تفعيل او عدم تفعيل اختيار 

Step 4.Click on the appropriate check marks to hide all the fields except the County, Pop1990, and McdCounty.(To make a field visible again, just click once more in the same cell.)

وعند عدم تفعيله سيقوم باخفاء كافة الحقول التي تم اختيار عدم عرضها

Step 5. Click to apply your changes to the theme table.

Note: The unchecked fields are no longer displayed, and only the checked visible fields remain. This is usful tool if you only need certain attributes displayed
